Dolin Blanc Vermouth hails from Chambéry in the French Alps, a region so synonymous with a particular style of vermouth that it earned France's only Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC) for the spirit back in 1932. This isn't some new kid on the block; Dolin's story began way back in 1821 when Joseph Chavasse started making his alpine-herb-infused wines. In fact, Dolin is credited with creating the very first Blanc (or white) vermouth, a sweeter, more floral, and less bitter style than its Italian Rosso counterparts, a profile they've been perfecting ever since. The brand is renowned for its traditional production methods, macerating real botanicals (many sourced locally) in white wine, a practice that sets it apart and contributes to its notably fresh and complex character.
