The Lucky Stone -- Variation #2
This drink is one I consistently return to, and for good reason. It’s a stunning example of how a few choice cocktail ingredients can create something special. The dry, nutty character of the Amontillado sherry and the rich Giffard apricot build a perfect base for the Irish whiskey.
Recipe Ingredients
1 oz. (30 ml) Lustau Dry Amontillado Los Arcos Add to Cart
1/2 oz. (15 ml) Giffard Abricot Du Roussillon Add to Cart
2 dashes Peychaud's Bitters Add to Cart
Lemon zest and cocktail cherry for garnish
Recipe Directions
2. Add ice and stir until thoroughly chilled.
3. Strain into a chilled serving glass.
4. Express a lemon zest over the drink, then drop it in. Garnish with a cocktail cherry.
