The 20th Century is one of those forgotten classics I have a real soft spot for. It's just so surprisingly bright and balanced. That subtle touch of chocolate playing off the gin botanicals and crisp lemon is what makes it truly sing—a genuinely fun, sophisticated sour.

Recipe Ingredients

3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) Martin Miller's Gin Add to Cart
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) Cocchi Americano Bianco Add to Cart
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) Marie Brizard Crème de Cacao White Add to Cart
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) fresh lemon juice
OPTIONAL: 1 bar spoon (5 ml) Tempus Fugit Crème De Cacao Add to Cart

Recipe Directions

1. Chill your coupe glass.
2. Into your shaker, combine 3/4 ounce of gin, 3/4 ounce of Cocchi Americano, 3/4 ounce of Marie Brizard White Crème de Cacao, and 3/4 ounce of fresh lemon juice.
3. Optionally, add one bar spoon of Tempus Fugit Crème de Cacao.
4. Fill with ice and give it a good, hard shake until well-chilled.
5. Fine strain into your prepared coupe.
