I love the Shrunken Skull for its directness. The whole drink is a conversation between rich, funky Demerara and a brighter, drier gold rum. It’s a simple sour build proving that the right cocktail ingredients make all the difference in your home bar, and I'm glad to feature these specific craft spirits on Bitter Bear spirits.
Recipe Ingredients
1 oz. (30 ml) Hamilton 86 Demerara Rum Add to Cart
1 oz. (30 ml) Don Q Gold Rum Add to Cart
1 oz. (30 ml) lime juice
1 oz. (30 ml) grenadine
Pineapple fronds and cocktail umbrella for garnish

Recipe Directions
1. Grab your shaker. Dump in the Hamilton 86, the Don Q Gold, the lime juice, and the grenadine.
2. Fill that shaker with ice.
3. Give it a good, hard shake until it's well-chilled.
4. Strain it into your preferred glass, ideally one filled with fresh ice.
5. Garnish with pineapple fronds and a cocktail umbrella.
