Queen's Park Hotel Super Cocktail -- Variation #2

My second take on the Queen's Park Hotel Super Cocktail really sings. The vanilla notes from the Angostura 1919 rum play so well against the rich Cocchi di Torino, all pulled together by tart lime and grenadine. It’s a beautifully layered drink I return to often.

Recipe Ingredients

1.5 oz. (45 ml) Angostura Rum 1919 Add to Cart
1/2 oz. (15 ml) Cocchi Vermouth Di Torino Add to Cart
1/2 oz. (15 ml) homemade grenadine
1/2 oz. (15 ml) fresh lime juice
2 dashes Angostura Aromatic Bitters Add to Cart (4 dashes from a smaller bottle)

Recipe Directions

1. Combine the Angostura 1919 Rum, Cocchi Vermouth di Torino, homemade grenadine, fresh lime juice, and Angostura Aromatic Bitters in a shaker.
2. Add ice and shake thoroughly until well-chilled.
3. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass.
