The Jungle Bird is a tiki drink that breaks all the rules, and that’s why I love it. The bitter punch of Campari cutting through funky rum and sweet pineapple is just brilliant. It's a complex, perfectly balanced sipper that always hits the spot.

Recipe Ingredients

3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) Coruba Dark Jamaican Rum Add to Cart
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) Hamilton 86 Demerara Rum Add to Cart
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) Campari Aperitivo Add to Cart
1.5 oz. (45 ml) fresh pineapple juice
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) fresh lime juice
1/2 oz. (15 ml) rich Demerara syrup (2:1 sugar:water)
Pineapple wedges and fronds for garnish

Recipe Directions

1. Combine both rums, Campari, pineapple juice, lime juice, and rich Demerara syrup in a shaker.
2. Add ice to the shaker.
3. Shake vigorously until well-chilled.
4. Strain into a chilled glass over fresh ice.
5. Garnish with a pineapple wedge and frond.
