Corpse Reviver No. 2 -- Variation #2

This is the Corpse Reviver No. 2 I make at home. The key is using Cocchi Americano—its quinine edge gives the drink a proper backbone and structure. With the absinthe rinse, it becomes this incredibly sharp, aromatic, and perfectly balanced classic.

Recipe Ingredients

3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) The Botanist Islay Dry Gin Add to Cart
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) Cocchi Americano Bianco Add to Cart
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) Luxardo Triplum Triple Sec Add to Cart
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) fresh lemon juice
Rinse of St. George Absinthe Verte Add to Cart

Recipe Directions

1. Take your chilled coupe glass and give it a good rinse with the absinthe, then dump out the excess.
2. Into your shaker, combine the gin, Cocchi Americano, triple sec, and fresh lemon juice.
3. Fill the shaker with ice.
4. Seal it up and give it a hard shake until it's well-chilled.
5. Double strain that right into your prepared glass.
