The name Etter has been synonymous with world-class kirsch since the family founded their distillery in Zug, Switzerland, back in 1870. For over a century, this was the only spirit they made, perfecting a classic that defines the category. This isn't just any cherry brandy; it holds a protected AOP status, meaning authentic "Zuger Kirsch" can only come from this specific region. Crafted from small, black cherries grown around Lake Zug, it's aged for years in glass demijohns, a distinctive process that keeps the fruit character incredibly pure while allowing a remarkable depth to develop.
