Casamigos Reposado Tequila, hailing from the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, isn't an old classic but a modern contender, famously co-founded by George Clooney, Rande Gerber, and Mike Meldman in 2013. The brand, whose name translates to "house of friends," was born from their desire to create the perfect tequila for personal enjoyment – smooth and without the burn. Casamigos is known for its ultra-premium tequilas made from 100% Blue Weber agave. Notably, the agave piñas are roasted in traditional brick ovens for 72 hours, and the fermentation process is an extended 80 hours, which is significantly longer than many industry standards. This particular reposado is aged for seven months in American white oak barrels.
