The Bijou
The Bijou is one of my all-time favorites, named for the “jewels” inside: gin, sweet vermouth, and Green Chartreuse. This cocktail is all about balance; when it's dialed in, the complex herbal and botanical notes really sing. An absolute gem of a drink.
Recipe Ingredients
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) Cocchi Vermouth Di Torino Add to Cart
1/4 oz. (7.5 ml) Chartreuse Green Add to Cart
1 dash Regans' Orange Bitters Add to Cart
Expressed lemon oil
Cocktail cherry for garnish
Recipe Directions
2. Combine gin, vermouth, Chartreuse, and bitters in a mixing glass.
3. Add ice.
4. Stir until properly chilled.
5. Strain into the chilled glass.
6. Express lemon oil over the drink, then garnish with a cocktail cherry.
