The Absinthe Old Fashioned

This is one of my favorite unexpected sippers. Using absinthe as the base spirit might sound like a lot, but the elderflower liqueur mellows its intensity perfectly. It becomes this wonderfully aromatic, herbaceous, and surprisingly balanced cocktail. A truly bold and delicious Old Fashioned variation.
