Spring Forward
The Spring Forward is my official welcome to warmer weather. That combination of fresh strawberry and herbaceous basil is a great start, but the split base is where it gets fun. The bright, funky Pisco and clean, botanical gin create a seriously complex and refreshing sipper.
Recipe Ingredients
1/2 oz. (15 ml) semi-rich simple syrup (1.5:1 sugar:water)
1 oz. (30 ml) Barsol Quebranta Pisco Add to Cart
1/2 oz. (15 ml) Plymouth Gin Add to Cart
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) Cocchi Americano Bianco Add to Cart
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) fresh lemon juice
Basil garnish
Recipe Directions
2. Add the Pisco, Plymouth Gin, Cocchi Americano Bianco, and fresh lemon juice to the tin.
3. Fill the tin with ice.
4. Give it a good, hard shake until well-chilled.
5. Double strain into a chilled coupe or Nick & Nora glass.
6. Garnish with a fresh basil leaf.
