Smoked Kentucky Colonel
The Kentucky Colonel is such a satisfying sipper. Swapping simple syrup for Bénédictine gives the bourbon a brilliant herbal, honeyed depth. The flamed lemon peel is the key, though; that warm citrus oil ties the whole drink together. It’s a simple, sophisticated riff I return to often.
