El Diablo
The El Diablo is one of my favorite highballs for a reason. It's this surprising and satisfying combination of earthy tequila, rich cassis, tart lime, and spicy ginger that just works beautifully together. It's complex yet totally crushable, and the interactive garnish is just plain fun.
Recipe Ingredients
1/2 oz. (15 ml) Jules Theuriet Crème de Cassis de Dijon Add to Cart
1/2 oz. (15 ml) fresh lime juice
3 oz. (90 ml) ginger beer OR spicy ginger ale
Inverted lime rind filled with the crème de cassis for “interactive” garnish
Recipe Directions
2. Fill the glass with ice.
3. Top with the ginger beer or spicy ginger ale.
4. Give it a gentle stir to combine.
5. Garnish with the inverted lime rind, filled with the crème de cassis.
