Bourbon Renewal -- Variation #1
The Bourbon Renewal is a modern classic for a reason, and this is my preferred spec. Using a robust small-batch bourbon gives it the structure to balance the deep berry notes from the crème de cassis. The Angostura bitters? That’s the secret handshake.
