The Wicked Word
I love a drink with some good-natured drama, and The Wicked Word delivers. It’s a clever twist where the flaming black sambuca float is pure theater. Don’t let the pyrotechnics fool you; this cocktail is surprisingly balanced and just plain fun to make.
Recipe Ingredients
1 oz. (30 ml) Aperol Aperitivo Add to Cart
1 oz. (30 ml) fresh lemon juice
1 oz. (30 ml) Romana Black Sambuca Liqueur Add to Cart (set aflame)
Recipe Directions
2. Add the Cognac, Aperol, and fresh lemon juice.
3. Fill with ice and give it a hard shake until well chilled.
4. Double strain into your serving glass.
5. Carefully float the Romana Black Sambuca on top, then ignite.
