The Wardroom
The Wardroom is a personal all-time favorite. I love how the fruity Cognac, the aged rum, and the nutty twenty-year-old tawny port all play together. It’s a sophisticated, complex, and just ridiculously satisfying sipper that showcases a perfect harmony between three distinct base spirits.
Recipe Ingredients
1 oz. (30 ml) Flor de Caña Gran Reserva 7 Year Rum Add to Cart
1 oz. (30 ml) Graham's 20 Year Old Aged Tawny Port Add to Cart
1 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters Add to Cart
1 barspoon (5 ml) Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur Add to Cart
Cocktail cherry for garnish
Recipe Directions
2. Add one ounce of Maison Rouge VSOP Cognac.
3. Follow that with one ounce of Flor de Caña 7 year Rum.
4. And one ounce of Graham’s 20 year Tawny Port.
5. One dash of Angostura Bitters.
6. One barspoon of Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur.
7. Add ice to your mixing glass.
8. Stir that until it's well-chilled and properly diluted.
9. Strain into a chilled coupe or Nick & Nora glass.
10. Garnish with a cocktail cherry.
