The Haunted House

I absolutely love this drink. The Haunted House is a killer split base of funky Jamaican rum and spicy rye, with Swedish Punsch adding this unique, complex sweetness. It’s a little weird in the best way, and just a fantastic, balanced sipper for autumn.

Recipe Ingredients

1 oz. (30 ml) Appleton Estate Signature Jamaican Rum Add to Cart
1 oz. (30 ml) Rittenhouse Straight Rye Whisky Bottled in Bond Add to Cart
1/2 oz. (15 ml) Kronan Swedish Punsch Add to Cart
1/4 oz. (7.5 ml) ginger syrup
2 dashes Angostura Aromatic Bitters Add to Cart
Expressed orange oil and cherry for garnish

Recipe Directions

1. Combine rum, rye, punsch, ginger syrup, and Angostura Bitters in a mixing glass.
2. Add ice and stir until well-chilled.
3. Strain into a chilled glass.
4. Express orange oil over the drink and garnish with a cherry.
