It’s a beautifully balanced cocktail where smoky mezcal, bittersweet Aperol, and the distinct funk of maraschino all get to shine without overpowering each other. It’s brilliant, straightforward, and absolutely delicious.

Recipe Ingredients

1 oz. (30 ml) Del Maguey Vida Mezcal Add to Cart
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) Aperol Aperitivo Add to Cart
1/2 oz. (15 ml) Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur Add to Cart
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) fresh lime juice
Expressed grapefruit oil for garnish

Recipe Directions

1. Combine mezcal, Aperol, Maraschino liqueur, and fresh lime juice in a shaker.
2. Add ice and shake until well-chilled.
3. Double strain into a chilled coupe.
4. Express grapefruit oil over the drink and discard the peel.
