The Cloister
The Cloister is a total banger, and proof that grapefruit and Yellow Chartreuse are a dream team. The cocktail shines because that sharp citrus cuts right through the sweet, herbal notes of the liqueur, creating something that’s both crushable and surprisingly complex. A real winner.
Recipe Ingredients
1/2 oz. (15 ml) Chartreuse Yellow Add to Cart
1/2 oz. (15 ml) grapefruit juice
1/2 oz. (15 ml) fresh lemon juice
1 barspoon (~5 ml) semi-rich simple syrup (1.5:1 sugar:water)
Recipe Directions
2. Add gin, Yellow Chartreuse, grapefruit juice, lemon juice, and simple syrup to a shaker.
3. Add ice to the shaker.
4. Shake hard for 12-15 seconds.
5. Double strain into the chilled coupe.
