The Classic White Lady Recipe -- Variation #1

This is my definitive White Lady. Some recipes omit the extra sugar, but for me, a touch of simple syrup is what makes it sing. It perfectly balances the earthier notes of Plymouth gin, creating an incredibly rich, foamy, and satisfying sour.

1.5 oz. (45 ml) Plymouth Gin Add to Cart
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) Luxardo Triplum Triple Sec Add to Cart
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) fresh lemon juice
1/4 oz. (7.5 ml) semi-rich simple syrup (1.5:1 sugar:water) OR 1:1 simple

1. Combine the gin, triple sec, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white (or aquafaba) in your shaker tin.
2. Seal it up and give it a hard dry shake for about 15-20 seconds to emulsify that egg white.
3. Now, add your ice to the tin.
4. Shake it again, this time a wet shake, until it's thoroughly chilled and properly diluted.
5. Double strain the contents into a chilled coupe or Nick & Nora glass.
