The Blended Grasshopper

I will defend the Blended Grasshopper to the end, especially when it's made this way. Using a proper crème de menthe makes all the difference. It’s a purely fun, boozy milkshake that’s balanced and seriously good. The Chartreuse whipped cream on top just seals the deal.

Recipe Ingredients

1.5 oz. (45 ml) Tempus Fugit Crème De Menthe Add to Cart
1.5 oz. (45 ml) Marie Brizard Crème de Cacao White Add to Cart
1 oz. (30 ml) Cream, Milk, OR unsweetened nondairy creamer
3 scoops (~200g) vanilla ice cream OR nondairy ice cream
1/4 cup (55g) crushed ice
Top with Chartreuse whipped cream*
Grated chocolate and mint sprig for garnish

Recipe Directions

1. Combine the crème de menthe, crème de cacao, cream, ice cream, and crushed ice in a blender.
2. Blend thoroughly until smooth and well-emulsified.
3. Pour the blended mixture into your serving glass.
4. Top with Chartreuse whipped cream, then garnish with grated chocolate and a mint sprig.
