Sagehen
The Sagehen is an absolute favorite of mine, a cocktail that shines by layering fresh, earthy, and botanical notes. We start by muddling fresh apple to build a crisp fruit base that plays beautifully against a rich, sage-infused honey syrup. When shaken with the distinct character of Plymouth Gin and a subtle, herbal kiss from Yellow Chartreuse, the result is a sophisticated and wonderfully textured gin sour. The collection of spirits we've assembled for the Sagehen ensures you can recreate this exact balance in your own home bar. From the specific gin chosen for its softer juniper profile to the classic French liqueur that ties it all together, these are the authentic cocktail ingredients needed for a top-tier drink. This isn't just a random assortment; it's a curated selection of craft spirits from the Bitter Bear spirits shop, hand-picked by me, Anders Erickson, to guarantee your Sagehen is as good as the one I make for myself.
