Mary Pickford Recipe -- Variation #1

The classic Mary Pickford is a fine drink, but this is the version I find myself returning to. Adding a little allspice dram introduces a warm, baking spice complexity that plays so well against the bright pineapple and the funk of the rum.

Recipe Ingredients

1.5 oz. (45 ml) Foursquare Probitas White Blended Rum Add to Cart
1.5 oz. (45 ml) fresh pineapple juice
1/4 oz. (7.5 ml) homemade grenadine*
1/4 oz. (7.5 ml) fresh lime juice
1/4 oz. (7.5 ml) St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram Add to Cart
1/2 bar spoon (2.5 ml) Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur Add to Cart
Pineapple fronds and cocktail cherry for garnish

Recipe Directions

1. Combine the white rum, pineapple juice, grenadine, lime juice, allspice dram, and maraschino liqueur into a shaker.
2. Add ice to the shaker and shake until thoroughly chilled.
3. Double strain the mixture into a chilled coupe glass.
4. Garnish with pineapple fronds and a cocktail cherry.
