Golden Cadillac (Classic)
The Golden Cadillac often gets a sideways glance, and I understand why some versions have given it a certain reputation. But when you build this drink with the right components, it’s a completely different animal. The secret is using Galliano L’Autentico, which brings a complex, anise-forward herbal character instead of the later, sweeter vanilla formulation. That specific profile, combined with a quality white crème de cacao like Marie Brizard for a clean chocolate note, creates something special. These are the exact cocktail ingredients I reach for, and shaking them hard with heavy cream results in a surprisingly balanced, velvety classic. I’ve selected these specific bottles for our Bitter Bear spirits curation because they are exceptional craft spirits that belong in any well-stocked home bar, ready to prove just how good this drink can be. - Anders Erickson
