Doctor Cocktail
The Doctor Cocktail is a frequent prescription in my home bar, and for good reason. Its genius lies in pairing funky Jamaican rum with the wonderfully odd, spiced character of Swedish Punsch. You get this tart, complex sipper that’s just undeniably spectacular.
Recipe Ingredients
1 oz. (30 ml) Appleton Estate Signature Jamaican Rum 5 Years Old Add to Cart
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) Kronan Swedish Punsch Add to Cart
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) lime juice
1/2 oz. (15 ml) rich Demerara syrup
2 dashes Angostura Aromatic Bitters Add to Cart
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) Kronan Swedish Punsch Add to Cart
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) lime juice
1/2 oz. (15 ml) rich Demerara syrup
2 dashes Angostura Aromatic Bitters Add to Cart
Recipe Directions
1. Combine the rum, punsch, lime juice, rich Demerara syrup, and Angostura bitters into your shaker.
2. Fill the shaker with ice.
3. Shake thoroughly until well-chilled.
4. Double strain into a chilled coupe or cocktail glass.
